We are delighted to let you know that a cuckoo has been seen and heard on the island over the past two weeks!

This is a Red List species due to the recent population decline, so hearing that very distinctive call really is a big thrill. We hope some of you have heard it to if you take your daily exercise along the Thicket Path.
